Sr. Research Scientist, Early Career Talent

The AWS T&D Science team is seeking a driven, curious applied scientist to lead our Early Career Talent (ECT) research.
Interns and early career talent are a critical talent pipeline for Amazon to fill future full-time hiring needs; further, interns act as ambassadors of the Amazon experience when they return to campus, creating a flywheel for attraction, brand, and building momentum for Amazon's larger goal to be the #1 employer of choice for students.
In this role, you will lead the research strategy to evaluate, diagnose, understand, and surface drivers and moderators of our intern/campus hire experience, conversion, network readiness (Manager, Mentor), and other early career talent processes and research questions.
These include (but are not limited to) intern placement, onboarding satisfaction, internship/campus hire engagement, contribution/performance, manager/mentor satisfaction, diversity & inclusion, inclined offer rates, conversion rates, etc.
You will dive deep and determine what research should be conducted across AWS and AWS lines of business (LoBs), develop hypotheses that can be tested, and use both quantitative and qualitative analysis to deliver actionable insights to AWS and ECT leaders, and key Amazon stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Proven research expertise knowledge and experience in all aspects of quantitative and qualitative research, including survey design, experimental design, hypothesis testing, human capital analytics/statistics, data interpretation, and reporting.
Strong verbal & written communication:
share your ideas, listen to others, follow-up, and follow-up again.
Use the language of the business and avoid consultant speak.
Can convey complex findings to a variety of audiences.
Prioritization:

Responsibilities:
Manage full life cycle of large-scale research programs (i.
e.
, develop strategy, gather requirements, manage, and execute) to expand the talent profile of AWS early career talent beyond internships to specialized program (i.
e.
, Apprenticeships).
Conduct experiments, analytics, and compute behavioral process models for a deep dive understanding of systemic and individual level drivers; combine quantitative and qualitative data to inform research and make recommendations that drive actionable insights in partnership with PM teams.
Drive conversion and correlation analysis that informs organization resourcing modeling by LoB Partner closely with our Analytics, Employee Survey (Connections), and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion teams to identify opportunities for integration points and address specific talent needs leveraging talent data and themes.
Partner with AWS Analytics team to automate organizational health reporting and innovative tools to uncover organizational insights to drive strategic talent and organizational discussions.
Measure and assess the impact of tools and resources introduced across each vertical of the AWS organization.
Continually evaluate solutions for quality, business impact, scalability, and sustainability.
Conduct post launch evaluations to understand successes and improvement opportunities, while establishing methods for sustained adoption with supporting Path to Green remediation plans to meet Intern Experience Goals.
Evaluate research initiatives to provide bottom line value, ROI, and incremental improvements over time.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
