The AWS Partner Network (APN) includes tens of thousands of consulting partners, systems-integrators, technology partners, ISVs, distributors, and value-added resellers that are using AWS as their cloud delivery platform around the world.
As a Global Public Sector Partner Development Manager supporting the AWS Distribution Program, you will have the exciting opportunity to create and execute the global strategy for one or more AWS distributors throughout worldwide public sector.
In this role you will 1 Be working with cross functional teams to create and execute on strategic business plans, inclusive of enablement, practice development, and marketing, to deliver against partner goals, 2 Drive partner sales revenue through regular partner pipeline, opportunity registration and business reviews to manage progress against a business plan, 3 Evangelize a partner's value proposition internally throughout AWS and externally with customers, 4 Drive solutions via APN Program attainment, continuous enablement through training and certifications and go-to-market strategies for differentiation and expansion of their footprint, and 5 Act as the owner of internal Partner Operations Management (AWS contracts, APN maintenance/troubleshooting, etc).
Roles & Responsibilities Serve as a key member of the WWPS Public Sector Distribution Team in helping to drive overall AWS growth strategy through partners.
Manage and develop AWS Distribution Partners - developing and advancing relationships and growing AWS revenue to and through these partners.
Manage an annual quota and drive net-new sales revenue via partner-led, AWS Distribution sales activities.
Maintain an accurate and robust pipeline and forecast of business opportunities.
Understand and navigate public sector contracting vehicles and procedures.
Set a global strategic sales plan for your portfolio and target markets and ensure it's in line with the AWS strategic direction.
Understand the technical considerations and certifications specific to the public sector.
Execute the strategic sales and business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders (e.
g.
sales teams, service teams, legal, support, etc).
Identify specific prospects/partners/channels to approach while communicating the specific value proposition for their business and use case.
Work closely with the AWS sales teams to build relationships with partners in your vertical and foster joint pursuits.
Understand the technical requirements of our customers and work closely with the internal development team to guide the direction of our product offerings for developers.
Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to closing new customers.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
