Workplace Incident Management - Area Investigator & Program Lead

Amazon Corporate Security's (ACS) mission is to provide a safe and secure workplace environment for all employees.
To support the delivery of its mission, ACS is searching for an experienced professional who will lead the efforts of Amazon's Corporate Security Workplace Incident Management (WIM) program, on the East Coast, while also functioning as the Investigative Lead, supporting Area Security Managers for regional security incidents.
This position reports directly to the Head of Corporate Workplace Incident Management.
The Workplace Incident Management (WIM) Area Investigator and Program Lead is responsible for leading a small team of regionally-based, contract Investigators, and managing and investigating cases and incidents of violence, and wrongdoing against Amazon, Amazon employees and contractors.
The incumbent will conduct threat assessments as required, investigations of reports and incidents of workplace violence, theft, policy violations, harassment, and personal safety concerns.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with a passion for independent, creative problem-solving, and have relentlessly high standards, with proven written and data analysis skills, and a history of taking ownership of issues or investigations, with a strong commitment to raise the bar of performance and achieve results.
Customer obsession is a must.
Key
Responsibilities:
Lead a small team of contract Investigators based on the East Coast of the United States Lead protective investigations into workplace violence incidents and concerns of workplace violence using threat management best practices.
Work closely with Area Security Managers and local security to help identify gaps in security and threats to Amazon, it's employees, contractors, and infrastructure.
Manage threats/incidents of violence or wrongdoing against Amazon interests and Amazonians in a variety of work environments, including virtual workspaces.
Provide investigative services and guidance for Amazon's corporate environment and work with cross-functional teams throughout the organization (Legal, Human Resources, Finance, Corporate Audit, Operations Security, and other related areas).
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Workplace Incident Management, Case Management, and investigative strategies and techniques.
Escalate threats/issues as necessary to law enforcement and other internal and external resources.
Develop and maintain relationships with international, federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.
Lead investigations of varying complexity into significant acts or threats of wrongdoing against Amazon and its employees.
Develop professional relationships across Amazon Corporate Security and teams across Amazon.
Work effectively with stakeholders within ACS, across other Amazon security entities, and with key partners in Human Resources (HR), Legal, and Employee Relations (ER).

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
