Systems Engineer

Responsibilities Include:
Perform system administration/maintenance functions for Linux and Windows based platforms.
Analyze system faults, troubleshoot, and run diagnostic tests on operating system and hardware to detect problems.
Troubleshoot systems and make system modifications to accommodate hardware upgrades.
Initiate preventive maintenance on the systems as well as be capable of repairing system problems.
Individual is required to document activities to work within a team environment.
Collaborate with other teammates to support the customer mission.
As required, work any shift/extended shifts, and on call support
Experience/Skills (Required):
CentOS/RHEL/Debian/Ubuntu (1 of)
Windows Domain Administration familiarity
Scripting languages: Bash, Python, Perl, PowerShell (1 of)
Familiarity with principles of Network Security
General knowledge of a wide range of technical fields
Install and extract network cabling and climb ladders without difficulty
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Experience/Skills with the at Least 2 of the Following (Desired):
VOIP (Asterisks)
Routing (Linux/Cisco)
VPN (OpenVPN/Cisco)
Network Design
Enterprise backup and restore solutions
Network Administration (Cisco)
Familiarity with various Mobile Operating Systems and their releases
Qualifications Requires Bachelors degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience.
