Are you a Recruiter with government contracting experience? Are you at ease with senior management? Can you handle high-volume recruiting? Akima, LLC has an immediate opening for a Senior Technical Recruiter with a passion for making a difference and a strong desire to grow with us. This position is ideally suited for a self-motivated, detail-oriented person who is very passionate about recruiting.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within multiple business units.
Develop strong relationships and partner with hiring managers and business leaders.
Work closely with hiring managers to maximize effectiveness of recruiting processes
Develop and execute comprehensive recruiting strategies utilizing all tools such as direct sourcing, online resume databases, social networking, and job events
Work with hiring managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
Regular follow up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
Will take positive steps to support and promote the recruitment, retention, and development programs for Native Alaskan shareholders
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor s degree preferred or equivalent experience
10 years of full-life cycle recruitment experience
8 years of experience recruiting for cleared candidates up to TS/SCI with Polygraphs
Strong record of recruiting technical candidates in Engineering, Cyber Security, and information Technology
Strong record of building and maintaining client relationship and partnership
Experience using a variety of online recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems (Taleo experience is a plus).
In depth understanding of EEO, ADA, FLSA, and OFCCP employment guidelines and regulations
Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and team based project experience.
Decisive ability to shift priorities and function effectively in a dynamic fast paced work culture.
Strong understanding of the recruiting aspects involved in the Government proposal environment.
Flexibility to work surge hours as required during proposal time frames.
Experience with high volume recruiting
Strong work ethic is a must
Must have a can-do attitude
Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance is essential
