Role Summary
The Launch & Training Specialist is an integral member of the AudiAcademy. The position is responsible for the planning, oversight and executionof all live and virtual launch efforts for all Audi dealers in the US Market.Delivery methods include live programs as well as virtually through online,video, dealership locations and other digital or non-traditional formats. This role requires heavy interface with theSr. Manager of Training and other Training Developers in addition to AudiSales/Operations, Audi Region Teams, Audi Product and Audi AG training.
Role Responsibilities
Assure on time, on spec and on budget live and virtual launches andprograms across the full Audi of America brand and product line
Work closely with internal clients and external specialists to assureeffective, accurate and compelling launch content and supporting curriculummaterials
Identify and leverage resources and materials between departments andacross vendors to assure alignment, collaboration and efficiencies
Lead the development of a strong launch effort by working closely tolocate and verify program information when it is still in development and manyitems required for execution may be unknown or in its early stages
Ongoing work in program scoping, costing and approvals through VW Groupof America purchasing and Audi of America finance teams
Collaborate on the design of instructionally sound curriculumsupporting each launch for mixed media learning materials including, web basedtraining, instructor-led training, job aides, self-study materials, etc.
Assure tracking and metrics in place for defining key programobjectives and for best leveraging the results of the preceding launch activistfor future improvement and success
Assist in developing and delivering Train-the-Trainer programs andfacilitate delivery of launch programs during pilot stage or on an on-goingbasis for vendors and facilitators
Successful vendor management from purchasing processes throughselection to final delivery
Display prudent time management and anunderstanding of budget responsibilities
Experience
5-7 years; Minimum of 4 years of Product Launch and/or Special ProjectManagement Experience
Skills
Detail-oriented and highly organized with exceptional programmanagement skills
Proven launch development, planning, curriculum and communicationskills
Ability to structure and plan launch programs equally well as a liveevent as well as virtually through online, video, dealership locations andother digital or non-traditional formats
Ability to work easily and effective between departments and acrossvendor resources to assure alignment and collaboration
Able to work easily in the leading edge of a program when informationis still in development and many items required for execution may be unknown orin early stages of development
Self-motivated and well organized - a continuous student of processimprovement
Team Player - ability to buildand sustain credibility with dealers, region teams and Academies
Excellent vendor and budget management skills
Equal passion for launching new ideas, cars and the Audi brand
Required Specialized Skills
Event planning and development experience with portfolio of work acrossboth live and virtual formats
Track record of successful business partner management
Strong history and track record for timeline and budget management
Proven ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, bothwritten & verbal
Personal computer skills in the major MS Office applications:
PowerPoint, Word, Excel
Audi and/or luxury automotive expertise
Strong program and launch leadership skills
Demonstrated innovation with technology

Creative thinker with ability to analyze data and determine insightsand trends
Supports change and continuous improvement
Desired Specialized Skills
Background in video, web or other digital production oversight andmanagement
Background in Instructional Design, adult learning principles &blended solutions
Certified Trainer
Experience in instructional design & authoring for multipleinstructional media; skill in Articulate Storyline, iBooks, FLASH & HTML
Knowledge & experience preferred in the design & development ofeLearning solutions & the application of project management principles
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree or Comparable Work Experience
Master's Degree preferred

Work Flexibility
30-50% travel (international and domestic) required for Launch Trainingworkshops, Launch Events, Filming and other launch-related activities.
