Academic Program Manager

The Academic Program Manager is based at the New Oasis headquarters and functions as the leader of the Academic Team. The position will provide leadership and oversight for the development of the company's Academic Operations strategies and plans that enhance study abroad opportunities for international students in the United States.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Design and manage the academic program which provides guidance and support to high school students
- Supervise the academic team including both the academic staff at HQ and the off-site academic coordinators
- Design and manage the college admission counseling program
- Design and organize the academic webinars and workshops
- Manage the tutoring program
- Work with other teams collaboratively to provide 360 degree support to the students
- Develop relevant metrics and a clear plan to achieve academic and company-wide goals and objectives
- Other administrative duties
Desired Skills and Experience
- Master degree or higher (preferably in education or similar field)
- Extensive working experience (8
years) in the education industry, preferably in a college admission counseling position
- An entrepreneurial, result-oriented attitude with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to manage, motivate and train staff
- Strong project management experience and skills
- Strong curriculum design experience and skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication
- Excellent presentation skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Professional appearance and demeanorEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
