Apply technical knowledge to assist the client with the development and integration of new technologies with an application development focus. Design and develop enterprise applications in a Web environment. Apply a systematic approach to the analysis, design, assessment, implementation, test, maintenance, and reengineering of software. Analyze user needs to develop software solutions. Demonstrate knowledge of the systems development life cycle. Build excellent client relationships and thrive in a client site environment. This position is located in the Northern VA area.
Basic
Qualifications:
-5 years of experience with multiple programming languages, including Java, C#, JavaScript, Ruby, Python, C, C , or Perl
-Experience in working with relational databases, including Oracle, MySQL, or MS SQL
-Experience with the systems development life cycle
-Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile and others
-Ability to translate client requirements into application designs and systems requirements
-Ability to troubleshoot application and database issues
-Ability to create software development design documentation
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required
-BS degree required
Additional
Qualifications:
-Experience with Ruby on Rails, Grails, or PHP
-Experience with HTML and CSS
-Experience with Eclipse or NetBeans
-Experience with ETL development
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent interpersonal, team leadership, development, and client relationship skills
