DigiFlight is seeking a Web Developer to support our government client in Herndon, VA.
Our customer requires an expert level web developer to design and develop front-end interfaces for an enterprise-wide system.
This project requires a candidate that has extensive experience within the entire software development life-cycle, using prevailing web technologies.
The expert web developer will have experience implementing and integrating open source and COTS technologies.
The web developer must have experience deconflicting technology gaps between open source and COTS systems.
Further, the candidate will understand how to create interfaces between new and existing systems to provide a unified solution that leverages prior Sponsor software investments.
The candidate will be able to create rapid prototypes for stakeholder feedback. The customer will participate as a team member with other customer staff and contractors.
Candidate must have experience with the following:
Agile Development, AJAX, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Extensible Markup Language (XML), HyperText Markup Language (HTML), Java, Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition (J2EE), JavaBeans Open Source Software (jboss), Javascript, JavScript Obejct Notation (JSON), Linux, Scrum practices, Spring, Struts, and UNIX.
1) Minimum of 11 years of demonstrated experience with modern web technology stack, e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript Frameworks, Ajax, Java, JEE, XML, and JSON.
2) Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience administering serves in Unix/Linux environments
3) Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience interfacing with or creating web services.
4) Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience analyzing and scoping the impact and required development LOE of deficiency report (DRs) and request for changes (RFCs), documenting this analysis and scoping as needed.
5) Demonstrated experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
6) Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience with multiple Model-View-Controller frameworks such as Spring, Struts, and JBOSS Seam.
7) Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience creating screenshots and web prototypes for customer evaluation.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
