Key Role:
Design and implement Big Data analytic solutions on a Hadoop-based platform. Create custom analytic and data mining algorithms to help extract knowledge and meaning from vast stores of data. Refine a data processing pipeline, focused on unstructured and semi-structured data refinement. Support quick turn, rapid implementations, larger-scale, and longer duration analytic capability implementations. Support business development, market investments, and client engagements, related to Big Data analytic solutions.
Basic
Qualifications:
-2 years of experience with Java, .NET, or object-oriented programming
-1 years of experience with rapid development frameworks, including Spring, Grails, or MVC
-1 years of experience with Linux and UNIX
-1 years of experience with relational databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, or Postgres
-Experience with Agile development, including Scrum
-Experience with data management and migration, including ETL or Pentaho Kettle
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional
Qualifications:
-Experience with NoSQL and schemaless databases, including Neo4j and Acumullo
-Experience with Solr or Lucene
-Experience with Cloud technologies, including Hadoop, Map Reduce, and Mahout
-Experience in working with Web services, including SOAP and REST
-BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or a related field
