Position Description
General
Summary: Manages and implements marketing to acquire new customers or engage with existing customers. This position develops campaigns and programs, manages tactical execution, and matrix-manages other teams and vendors. Responsible for optimizing programs, campaigns and tactics to achieve results in alignment with corporate and marketing objectives.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Works cross-functionally with Product Management, Product Marketing and other Marketing Managers to develop and optimize campaigns, tactics and/or programs in alignment with organizational objectives.
Provides reporting and analysis of results, costs, and return on investment. This includes setting up campaigns and tactics with the right level of detail to ensure reporting can be compiled. Measures the success of campaigns qualitatively and quantitatively with the Sales department.
Provides monthly performance reporting for assigned tactics such as web site activity, paid media, email results, telemarketing results, sales results, costs per tactic and return on investment.
Manages quality assurance with attention to detail, ensuring that all documentation and copy related to campaigns are accurate and current.
Develops or directs the creation of creative content and copy as needed.
Acquires lists for campaigns as needed.
Drafts and/or edits copy for tactical execution, including emails, microsites, landing pages, web copy, content, and other copy as needed.
Manages work of vendors, agencies, and other Marketing Managers to achieve planned results, accuracy of content, and brand compliance.
Utilizes Marketing Automation Platform to implement and manage campaign tactics.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Journalism
Licensures:
Relevant Work
Experience: 6-8 years of experience in Marketing or Sales
