General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) has an immediate opening for a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our Operations team. The position provides an opportunity to develop and advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nations fundamental defense services. GDAIS employees work closely with esteemed clients to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to design and development the systems, processes and tools that support internal and client operations. Key Responsibilities
Mechanical Engineers lead design and development of mechanical and electromechanical systems in support of quick response capability (QRC) programs. Work involves hands-on development (design, assembly and testing) of one-of-a-kind solutions to solve mission needs for items such as tools, support structures and machinery.
Candidates must demonstrate a passion for innovation, a sophisticated understanding of systems engineering and analysis, and the ability to effectively develop and evolve GDAIS technology.
The Junior Mechanical Engineer position requires either a masters degree with zero to two years of related experience, or a bachelors degree in a related specialized area or the equivalent and two to five years of related experience.
Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
