The Procurement Non-Technical Project Manager is a functional subject matter expert in Procure to Pay technology and business processes. Oversees and the implementation of a new technology platform, and associated processes and projects. The candidate will operate independently, lead requirements gathering and design sessions with stakeholders, and develop appropriate documentation. They will participate in strategic planning, determining issues, and assessing future needs to identify projects that achieve business goals and objectives and/or improve or streamline functions. Utilize wide-ranging experience to conduct research and problem-solving on highly significant matters. KEY JOB FUNCTIONS Manage daily team activities to advance the work of one or more projects. Plan, document, review requirements and deliverables. Develop, implement, and share best practices and tools in areas such as technology development, project management, risk management, change management, document retention and management, and post-implementation review. Analyze the needs of the business users by conducting requirements gathering and design sessions with stakeholders. Provide technology support and input. Support opportunities for technology improvements. Make recommendations for enhancements. Manage key internal and external relationships. Identify and resolve project issues, interdependencies, and conflicts. Ensure positive outcomes. Develop team members and provide ongoing professional guidance and direction. Directs all activities for the deployment of a technology, functionality or project. EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 6-8 years of relevant experience in business / procurement transformation required SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS Demonstrated knowledge of business process and best practices impacting procurement related projects such as Requirements development, Project Management, Procurement Systems and Technology. Possesses in depth knowledge of Procurement systems and processes Ability to influence others through fact based, data driven recommendations. Ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders and leadership. Experience in presenting to senior management necessary. Candidate must be able to establish and manage relationships to achieve mutually agreed goals. Experience working with or implementing Spend Management solutions such as Ariba, SAP, etc. Knowledge in Procurement related technologies such as Procure to Pay, Spend Analysis, Contract Management, Supplier Relationship Management and general workflow tools. Ability to work through others to ensure execution of day to day tasks to drive results. Ability to assume responsibility and ownership for successfully completing assignments and tasks. Sets and achieves high standards. Ability to manage multiple tasks and objectives related to introducing new business processes and technology in order to meet Procurement objectives. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
