Summary:
Neopart Transit is seeking a warehouse lead / inventory specialist for their parts room in the Herndon VA area.
This individual will be responsible for optimizing the layout of the local parts rooms in addition to working to determine the optimal items and quantities to stock.
They will also be responsible for working with the customer to plan for various events that effect the demand of inventory.
As part of this role, they will also need to be able to perform all the duties of a parts clerk which includes ordering and issuing parts to the on-site customer.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:
Establish optimal parts room layout Setup and maintain stocking parameters for all items Work with customer to plan for various maintenance events Maintain established stock levels at customer locations Ensure that customer questions and concerns are promptly and courteously resolved Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers always Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support Adhere to customer policies at each location Perform all the duties of a local parts clerk Qualifications include:
Understanding of inventory and warehouse management principles APICS CPIM certification (Not needed but encouraged to have) General understanding of software used to manage inventory Ability to work with data and the various software tools used to analyze data Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of people Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills Job Type:
