IT System Admin (Herndon, VA Onsite) with Security Clearance

Well, if you said yes to both of those questions, we have the opportunity for youWe are currently looking to add an energetic individual to our IT departmentIn this role, you will be maintaining and updating our enterprise Microsoft 365 environment and keeping the company updated on NIST 800-171 and CMMC ComplianceEligible candidates should have an Intermediate understanding of Microsoft products, have a can-do attitude, and have the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Government ClearanceBelow is a list of the technologies that you will be both exposed to, as well as trained on, once on boardJob Descriptiono Help desk resolution and service desk delivery.o Support users in Microsoft 365 environment.o Microsoft Admin (Exchange, Intune, Entra, Defender)o Microsoft Suite Support (Outlook, Teams, Office, Power BI)o Maintenance of Azure Active Directory environments including Policies.o Assists in the setup of newly hired Team Member equipment, including workstations, hardware, software, monitors, cell phones, tablets, etc.o Perform maintenance which includes but is not limited to installation of new software releases, system upgrades, and patches.o Maintain Firewall and VPN access.o Maintains current and accurate inventory of IT assets& equipment.o Evaluates current and new resources and services for potential improvements.o Maintain Office Printers-Troubleshoot (paper jams, driver, order toner).o Maintain VOIP and update company directory as necessary.o Maintain and troubleshoot office video conferencing system (Polycom).o Ensures IT equipment is accessible, updated, and documented with current hardware and software.o Troubleshoots hardware, software, networks, and operating systems.o Supports and trains end users on hardware and software program functionality.o Work with 3rd Party vendors and ticketing system.o Datawatch-Assign, terminate access cards, answer calls regarding door props and resets.o On call after hours for emergencies- answering calls or emails for employee support.o NIST 800-171 & CMMC experience- Including maintaining the SSP & POAMo Performs other IT related duties as assignedRequirementso Position is onsite in Herndon, VA.o Knowledge of Windows servers and current client operating systems (Windows 10 & 11 preferred).o Knowledge of M365/GCC Administrationo Knowledge and ability to install and administer computer hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.o Knowledge of Firewalls (Fortigate).o Knowledge of Networking (wireless and wired).o Provides stellar customer service to internal and external stakeholders.o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.o Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.o Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.o Minimum 2-5 years of experience.o Able to obtain and maintain IT Certifications as needed.o Desirable:
A+, Security
Certificationo Able to obtain and maintain a TS clearance.
