Information System Security Manager (ISSM) with Security Clearance
Cyntel Technologies is in search of an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) on our newly awarded Prime contract in Reston, VA.
Clearance - TS/SCI w/CI poly
Job Description:
o The Information System Security Manager will be embedded in the SAP office.
o The contractor shall be responsible for building cybersecurity programs across a diverse enterprise and work closely with the DIA PMO, DIA CIO, and FFRDC (MITRE) staff to develop a cybersecurity strategy for a cyber security program that protects classified program data.
o The ISSM shall lead, facilitate, track security controls, surveys, and conduct accreditation approval discussions with site Information System Security Officer, and DIA, Military Services, Defense Contractor security personnel that host mission capabilities to include standalone computers, scientific equipment, and isolated networks.
o The ISSM shall contribute to policy, guidance, and processes for classified program data transfer to/from standalone workstations based on DIA CIO requirements.
o The ISSM shall support JFMPO at technical working group meetings by providing agendas (including topic selections that reinforce strategic planning), taking meeting notes, and distributing meeting notes.
o The ISSM shall evaluate new networked capabilities to replace or complement existing secure networks.
Position Requirements - Basic
Qualifications:
Education:
associate or bachelor's degree in associated discipline preferred but not required.
o Excellent organizational skills to address complex issues.
o Strong communication skills (both orally and in writing) to individuals and groups having diverse needs and interests.
Other Requirements:
o In accordance with DoD 8570.
01M, the selected individual must meet the requirements of an IAM Level III as a condition of employment.
o 10
years working in cybersecurity for intelligence systems in the DoD or Intelligence Community as an ISSM.
o Experience handling classified program data to include standalone systems and networks.
o Strong leadership skills o Five to ten years of military experience in planning, preparing, executing, and continuously assessing missions CONUS and OCONUS.
