Summary:
LinQuest is looking for a Senior Staff Systems Engineer that will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of product availability, performance, and security.
In this role, the Senior Staff Systems Engineer supports the sponsor's strategic technology portfolio of programs.
Perform duties contributing to general mission and/or space vehicle systems engineering activities.
Key
Responsibilities:
Perform system level analysis and relate performance of system components to performance of the system Support the development of requirements, design, integration, development or testing of engineering products (new, existing, and modifications) which are being fielded.
Apply a diversified knowledge of engineering/technical principles and analytical techniques for the purpose of developing new or improved solutions.
Provide programmatic support, to include scheduling, costing, action items, facilitation of program reviews, assessments, and engineering board reviews.
Write, review and maintain technical documentation.
Proactively uses technical background to support assessments.
Solve problems and documents resolutions.
Required Skills and
Experience:
10
years working onsite supporting customer program and systems management.
BA/BS in systems engineering, computer science or engineering.
Diversified knowledge of engineering/technical principles encompassing systems, software or operations Proficient in the use of standard computer applications and engineering tools Documents clearly and concisely Accountable for decisions Listens to others and values options Communicates well verbally and in writing Builds customer confidence and is committed to increasing customer satisfaction.
Knowledge in aerospace systems, spacecraft subsystems design, or mission operations.
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Active TS/SCI security clearance with a recent CI Polygraph is required Preferred Skills and
Experience:
TS/SCI
