Senior Systems Development Engineer, Code Services ADC
Amazon Web Service is building some of the largest distributed systems in the world, and offering them to our peculiar Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) customers.
The Code Services ADC team is looking for Senior Systems Development Engineer to join our Herndon based team.
Our systems development engineers work in a fast-paced environment with our multi-disciplined service teams to deliver these cutting-edge services to our customers.
Code Services ADC team members own the scaling and management of services across AWS regions supporting the US Government.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Key job responsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will have deep experience working with Linux, preferably in a large scale, distributed environment.
You regularly take part in deep-dive troubleshooting and conduct technical post-mortem discussions to identify the root cause of complex issues.

Whether its building tools in Java or solving complex system problems in Python, the ideal candidate will love using technology to solve problems.
You have a solid understanding of software development methodology and know how to use the right tool for the right job.
