Software Developer - Expert/SME Level (clearance required) with Security Clearance
Overview Illuminate Technologies, LLC is seeking a Software Developer to assist in the application of technical resources to accelerate the timely, reliable, and secure delivery of open-source data, information, and insightsThis position requires developer support to develop tailored solutions to tackle unique global collection problemsThe work may be performed independently or within a team environment depending on the specific problem statementWork will include developing Amazon Web Services (AWS)-based resources and the Sponsor needs skills spanning many computer, storage, and networking servicesResponsibilitieso Work closely with the Sponsor's technical lead to architect, deploy, and maintain multiple, fast-turnaround capabilities used to perform various highly visible and high-priority collection efforts.
o Coordinate with multiple entities, including mission partners, to ensure capabilities and deliverables meet defined requirements and tradecraft needs.
o Create and maintain collection capabilities and deliverables within the Sponsor's Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment utilizing sponsored approved AWS services.
o Validate collected data to ensure it meets data format requirements.
o Maintain all source code in Sponsor's GitHub repository.
o Document all source code, including how to execute the code.
o Perform operations and maintenance on the collection capabilities and deliverables to adapt to changes in collection target, technologies, data formats, and naming conventionsQualificationso A BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or related discipline.
o Requires an Active and current TS/SCI w/ polygraph government security clearance.
o A minimum 14 years' experience with a Bachelor's; 12 years with a MS or 9 years with a Ph.
D.
o Required Certification(s):
AWS DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, or SysOps Administrator.
o Demonstrated experience with the following:
o Creating and managing AWS resources, including provisioning EC2 instances, writing and deploying Lambda functions, creating, and writing to S3, and managing authorization appropriately across resources with IAM policies.
o Geo-spatial software and programming packages and data formats.
o Pythono GitHub Preferred
Experience:
o Deploying AWS applications with AWS's Cloud Development Kit (CDK)Ansible and Terraform are NOT a substitute for CDK.
o Building and deploying containerized applications.
o Building, programmatically working with and maintaining search engines such as Elastic Search, Lucene, or AWS's OpenSearch.
o Creating, programmatically working with, and maintaining SQL and NO-SQL databases.
o Other non-AWS cloud services such as Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure.
