Amazon Dedicated Cloud Security team is looking for an experienced Security Engineer with a strong security and development background.
You will create, build, and innovate security defenses, possibly by writing code/scripts, and creating detection mechanisms.
You will work across Amazon with stakeholders, service owners, and product teams to develop automation solutions that streamline data processing, connect disparate systems, and reduce the need for human intervention.
You will develop self-service platforms that will enable our National Security workforce to operate more effectively.
You will influence product roadmaps, reuse and enhance existing systems, and build new solutions to raise the bar for security, automation, and operational excellence.
As a Security Engineer you will be expected to influence the business and technology direction of the team.
You will have the ability to impact the goals of not only your direct team but partner teams and stakeholders as well.
You will constructively identify problems and propose solutions for metrics, alarming, or design approaches.
You take on projects that improve security at scale, focusing on automation where possible, and work to resolve the root cause of problems.

This is a hands-on position where your daily activities will range from strategic planning to new system development to supporting the customers that depend on your services.
You will deliver consistent, well-defined results in an agile systems development workflow.

This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
