International Tax Manager

Description Leidos Corporate Group is looking for an International Tax Manager to join our tax planning and audit team.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the planning and audit of various tax matters related to Leidos' global operations.
The successful candidate will work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and outside consultants to support Leidos' current operations and future expansion both in the US and in foreign will have the opportunity to provide advice to business partners and other functional stakeholders, manage the Company's indirect tax processes in multiple jurisdictions and work on resolving foreign tax controversy matters.
You will be expected to partner effectively with International Business Development, Procurement, Program Finance, Accounting and applicable business departments on various projects as needed.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage the Company's international indirect tax /value added tax process for certain jurisdictions such as:
compliance and reporting, outside vendors, and collaboration with Accounts Payable team to review indirect tax implications Manage foreign indirect/VAT tax audits for certain jurisdictionsAdvise Leidos business units with respect to VAT/GST implications for purposes of pricing contracts / new opportunitiesEngage with Leidos operational, legal and accounting teams to identify foreign tax requirements to assist with setting up new entities/branches and implement tax processes on a going forward basisAssist with research of various foreign tax technical issues and document positionsMonitor changes in non US tax legislationAssist with other ad-hoc tax projects / deliverables Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Tax with a minimum of 8 years of corporate tax experience in either a public accounting firm or multinational company, with at least 4 years specializing in international taxIn depth knowledge of VAT/GST concepts and accounting for VAT/GSTExperience with international tax issuesAbility to perform foreign tax technical research and document conclusionsKnowledge of transfer pricingExcellent communication, financial and economic analysis skillsThe successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and be comfortable influencing decision makingMust have the flexibility that a global company requires (e.
g.
, be available for calls with people in other time zones, etc.
) Pay Range:
Pay Range $84,500.
00 - $130,000.
00 - $175,500.
00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
