Capture Executive - Junior

The Capture Executive is responsible for the capture ownership of assigned opportunities in support of the Jacobs Cyber and Intelligence Solutions Business Unit through the Growth & Sales group within Divergent Solutions.
This individual will play a role in working with Proposal Managers and Account Managers on business capture efforts to ensure all aspects of capture including win strategy, engagement, shaping, solutioning, teaming, and proposal readiness are timely, high quality, and differentiated to increase the overall Probability of Win.
As a Junior Capture Manager, you are expected to participate in business planning activities to include weekly pipeline and gate reviews, bid agenda development, opportunity gate reviews, win theme and discriminator solution sessions, and proposal development/review.
You will develop and execute a capture plan to increase the organization PWIN by obtaining customer meetings, developing relationships with CO, CORs, and government PMs, finding incumbent staff, refining the price to win, and developing staffing and technical solutions for each opportunity.
As a Junior Capture Executive, you will be responsible for the management and execution of the full capture life-cycle process across multiple simultaneous pursuits and proposals.
The Junior Capture Executive will routinely be assigned 2-3 concurrent ($50M+) solicitation pursuits at various stages of the capture lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have previously served as a capture or business development representative with proven experience supporting Department of Defense customers in training, cyber, Information technology or intelligence services.
Successful candidates will have the ability to conceptualize a vision for winning, to develop a capture plan that implements Divergent Solutions' strategy and manages capture activities and team (internal and external) to achieve the vision through final proposal submission.
The Capture Executive will also assist in preparing the operations team to quickly perform at post award.
Primary
Responsibilities:
oDevelop a plan for securing knowledge and understanding of the customer's requirements, issues, and needs during the pursuit and capture phases and lead planning sessions with core team.
oCoordinate meetings with customers, clients, and teammates to develop market insights on requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing, and contract vehicle choices.
oPlan and participate in capture activities, to include weekly pipeline reviews, opportunity gate reviews, bid agenda development, win theme and discriminator solution sessions, SWOT sessions, collaboration and workshop sessions, proposal development /reviews.
oConduct research and provide in-depth analysisoLead competitive assessments and teamingoSelf-starter who can work independently while adhering to milestones and suspensesoLead the development and submission of white papers, RFI/Market Surveys/Sources Sought responses, and other proposal artifacts as assignedoApply a practical application (including documentation) of the Jacobs Cyber and Intelligence BU capture planning process and practicesoBrief capture status to stakeholders at specified milestones in the capture process, when material changes occur and as neededoSupport senior capture executivesoSupport other business development activities as assignedoConduct after action reviews for all business opportunity capture participants to document lessons learnedoDevelop bid and proposal budgets and execute capture plansoAttend conferences and coordinate government industry visits#DVS #DIVERGENT #DIVERGENTSOLUTIONSBachelor's degree and with more than one year supporting sales, supporting business development or capture.
Three or more years interacting with Department of Defense (DoD) clients may be considered in lieu of supporting sales, business development, or capture experience.
oLeadership skills to develop, organize and execute significant capture activities, including building industry teams, assessing win probability, and executing customer call plans to shape acquisitions, in order to respond to and win business with new and existing customersoExperience supporting client activitiesoExperience leading teams in a virtual environment; ability to work through others, and get results from teams that do not report directly to youoDemonstrated experience working independently - require minimal supervisionoStrong written and verbal communication skills with experience briefing executivesoWillingness to travel to other U.

Estimated up to 25% annually as required.
oPosition is eligible for some remote work but residing in the northern Virginia area.

Qualifications:
