Fibertek is actively searching for a Technical Business Development Director to drive Fibertek's growth in lasers, lidars and laser communication applications who brings both technical subject matter expertise and a strategic perspective.
In this customer-facing position, the business development executive is a trusted advisor to Fibertek's Business Development & Strategy SVP and will develop strategies and technical solutions to meet growth goals.
Responsibilities:
Detailed knowledge of Fibertek's technologies and capabilities and how they can be used solve customer needs Grow and maintain key senior relationships with existing and potential customers in the Defense, Intelligence Community, NASA and Major Aerospace Primes) Identification, technical solution development and capture of TRL-3 to TRL-6
laser, lidar and laser communication opportunities typically in the range of $5M - $50M each Flexibility to work at both the strategic level and tactical level for key pursuits Develop linkages between long-term strategic plan and near-term opportunities Maintain active participation in professional organizations, serving as conference chairs, presenting papers, participating in industry workshops Experience and expertise required:
Journeyman electrician license US citizenship.
Active Secret Clearance.
Fibertek will sponsor clearance investigation for successful candidate without a clearance.
Valid driver's license required for local travel.
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as an effective team player and to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
Strong attention to detail.
