Job Description:
Our client is a $40 million commercial landscape maintenance and residential design/build landscape company with nearly 35 years of experience providing clients with beautiful and well maintained properties.
They want to hire a Branch Manager based in the Herndon VA branch to drive the overall business.
This Branch currently generates $3mm per year in revenue between all of their services which includes Landscape Maintenance, Design/Build, Irrigation, Snow Removal and Enhancements.
As the leader of the branch, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of branch operations, ensuring the delivery of high quality services to our clients, will manage the P&L and will focus on key metrics to drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of branch operations, including sales, production, and administrative functions Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue goals Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and complaints are proactively addressed through ongoing communication Ensure the delivery of high-quality service and promote a culture of safety and teamwork Hire, train, and mentor staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver excellent service and meet production goals Develop and manage branch budgets and financial goals, including monitoring expenses, revenue and net profit.
Collaborate with other branch managers and corporate leadership to share best practices and ensure consistent service delivery across the company Participate in industry events and associations to stay up to date on the latest trends and innovations in the industry Requirements:
Proven experience in leadership and management in the landscaping or related industry Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Knowledge of landscaping and horticulture practices Ability to manage diverse operating styles of staff and adjust to the seasonality of the business Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to operate with minimal supervision Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred This is a leadership position so we are looking to hire a professional with leadership qualities, the ability to motivate and develop teams, has business and financial acumen and is looking to maximize the opportunity as the Washington DC market is ripe.
