Quick Apply Part-time 4 hours ago Full Job Description Albryte Support Services is an ID Group Home provider in Sterling seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to work with persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Your primary responsibility is to assist the individuals with activities of daily living, socialization, leisure and recreation, and communication skills.

Shifts needed:
Saturday - Sunday:
10am - 7pm.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Support with personal care routines such as feeding, personal grooming, toileting, and dressing.
Complete housekeeping duties.
Utilize adaptive devices (wheelchairs, walkers, hearing aids, etc.
) in accordance with each individual's treatment plan.
Support with activities and assuring safety and healthcare practices are consistently observed.
Exercise good judgment in applying established policies and procedures to ensure the well-being and safety of all persons we serve.
Interact frequently and positively with individuals, external professionals, clinicians, family, etc.
This would include role-modeling of appropriate personal conduct, manners, and professional appearance.
Accompany persons served on community outings and engaged in leisure, educational, and recreational activities.
Basic
Qualifications:
Must have DSP experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age with at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to obtain a health certificate stating employee is free and clear of any and all communicable diseases.
Must possess a valid and current driver's license.
Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
Must be able and willing to complete duties as directed and model professional behavior.
Must be computer literate with the ability to navigate company-established software systems.
Possess the ability to employ critical thinking skills when circumstances warrant such action (including Crisis Situations).
Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle individuals based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning.
