Essential Functions:
Provide network administration support to proposal and pursuits, including estimation of effort, and completion of Basis of Estimates.
Develop new network architectures based on operational requirements.
Provide networking support to multiple environments including development, test, CM, performance tuning and production.
Architecting, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting SCADA/DCS type control system Networks for marine applications.
Hands-on experience with Industrial Control Network Protocols such as EtherNet/IP, Modbus/TCP, ProfiNet, etc.
, and use of protocol converters.
Possesses advanced certification with mainstream network providers (ex:
Cisco CCIE R, Juniper JNCIE-DC, HPE ACSX, ) Integrating hardware and software system components within a lab environment.
Troubleshooting and problem solving of Network issues related to but not limited to Switches, Routers, and Servers.
Perform periodic maintenance tasks IAW specific procedures, SOP's, and vendor documentation.
Reviewing existing network implementation and recommending improvements.
Conduct analysis of network usage and develop plan to meet future needs.
Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and maintaining routers, switches, VLAN, and firewalls.
Hands-on experience configuring dynamic routing protocols.
Experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols.
When system is delivered, participating in on-call rotation for site coverage, and responsible for responding to mandatory recall in real world and exercise situations.
Provide onsite shipyard support on a rotational basis as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of eight years' experience in network design, implementation, and operations.
Ability to travel when required.
United States Citizenship only.

The successful candidate will possess strong initiative with an ability to work in a dynamic team-oriented environment.
Ability to conduct root-cause analysis of issues related to the network and recommend corrective action.
Experience trouble-shooting complex systems consisting of hardware, software, and communications systems.
Experience with Cryptographic equipment and associated Network interfaces.
Experienced with government contracts in relationship to providing quality onsite support to customers.
Experienced with requirement development, system architecture, detailed system design, and verification testing.
Experienced with waterfall and agile development processes.
