Technical Director
The i-Link Technical Director will focus on growth opportunities and satisfying the technical requirements for the Company, with a primary focus on the Federal Market.
This position will report directly to the President of i-Link Solutions, Inc.
Developing and maintaining the product area roadmaps that supports the Five-Year Plan and future revenue growth, technical aspects of business pursuit or core growth strategies, and is focal point for technology innovation within the Company.
The Technical Director will drive technology innovation relevant to new business capture activities and will be accountable as the Engineering leader for all Company pursuits.
This includes responsibility for the Technical Solution, identification of technical discriminators, and identifying potential teammates / suppliers.
Execute technical strategies, including company internal investment activities.
Interface with customers to maintain or build strategic partnershipsOrganization, and strong communication skills are required for regular day to day interaction with business leaders, program managers, and engineering leads to ensure proper support to the Company.
Required Skills Minimum of 10 years of experience in Engineering, or related experienceExperience working with IT solutions, such as App Modernization, Software Development, SW Testing, Cloud solutions, Cybersecurity, and/or Data Analytics.
Demonstrated executive presence, strong written and oral communication skills, solid judgment, reasoning, and decision-making abilitiesDemonstrated technical leadership with new business capture/pursuit, including contribution and/or authoring of white papers, Request for Information (RFI) responses, and proposal Technical Volumes.
Mentoring and providing career development direction to junior engineersMust have the ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills Understanding of broader policies and organizations within the Federal government and associated technical roadmaps that are driving industry innovation.
Strong established Federal customer and industry relationships.
Active Top Secret security Clearance Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, Sciences or other STEM related concentration.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
