Duties and
Responsibilities:
Experience with contract administration, negotiations, and proposal preparation for Federal Government contracts Experience with management of a variety of contract types, including fixed-price, time and material, and cost reimbursable. Process all contract related actions including contract awards, modifications and close-out requests, entering all information into company systems Proficient knowledge with drafting contract related documents to include Subcontracts, Task Orders, vendor and teaming partner agreement documents, Non-Disclosure, Teaming Agreements, and Independent Contractor Agreements. Ability to independently facilitate negotiation and finalization of agreements. Reviews complex solicitations and assists in the preparation of specialized and/or non-routine response for proposals, bids, and contract modifications. Prepares and disseminates information throughout the company regarding contract award, status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation and termination. Build and maintain relationships with internal staff and external customers/stakeholders. Proficient understanding of Government contract regulations (FAR, DFAR, HHSAR, etc.) and able to provide guidance in compliance and interpretation of regulations. Prepares special reports and analyses as required. Provide contractual guidance and training to department employees. Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree. 5 years minimum experience, 7-10 desired of contracts, business, or related experience. Minimum
Qualifications:
Excellent organizational skills Ability to draft, interpret, and negotiate moderate to complex, non-routine contractual instruments. Proficient knowledge of contracting concepts, FAR, DFARS, and agency supplements. Service Contract Act knowledge a plus Working knowledge of industry systems (Unanet Project Portfolio, Deltek GCS Premiere, or Costpoint) preferred. Strong to excellent analytical and communication skills. Use of independent judgment and creativity applied to the resolution of contract issues.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
