UI/UX Developer
KBR is seeking a highly motivated UI/UX developer to join our team.
The successful candidate will incorporate a range of software tools to support state of the art data user interface and user experience.
The candidate will develop interfaces to visualize large intelligence collection data that supports collection assessments and analysis.
Candidate will work as part of an integrated team in direct support of the US Government customer, FFRDC and other SETA team members in a professional work environment.
Responsibilities:
Work with Project Management Office and software development team to establish User Interface and User ExperienceCreate web-based applications to effectively display dataCreate APIs and data-drive rich user interfacesPerform DevSecOps tasks and work with DevSecOps team as neededMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Digital Design or Computer Science or related discipline5 years of UI/UX experienceTechnical skills, knowledge and experience to accomplish work with minimal oversightDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writingClearly and concisely express multifaceted conceptsDevelop ideas in a logical sequence leading to a validated conclusionUnderstand typography, color, grid and composition and strives to demonstrate best practices for pixel-perfect production considerations and methodsHave hands-on experience using various tools such as Miro, Sketch, Studio, InVision, XD, UXPin, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, (or equivalent experience with evolving UI/UX systems)Understands modern web and/or mobile environments such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Qualifications:
Master's of Science degreeStrong knowledge of Linux and Windows OSFamiliar with AWS and other cloud servicesExperience with programming and scripting languages like Python, Peri, Bash, PHO, Java, Angular, SQL, Postgress, C++, or C#Experience with security frameworks and Risk Management Framework (RMF) processExperience with DoD Authority to Operate (ATO) processes8570 IAT II compliant certification such as Security+Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)Understanding of collection management and data flowsSecurity Requirements:
Must have an active TS-SCI/w CI Poly security clearance.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
