Vaxcom Services, Inc (a Parsons company) is looking for an amazingly talented Armed Security Officers to join our team! These persons will serve as Team Lead and Supervisory capacitiesA Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph is requiredWhat You'll Be Doing:
o Lead a Team of Security OfficersControl access to facility by monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting vehicles, and ensuring all personnel entering the base have the proper identification. Responds to situations on base using the appropriate escalation of force level up to and including armed response by following established Use of Force Policy. Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents that may occur during day or night. Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity. Maintains proficiency and safety in the use of all assigned equipment, control devices, and weapon systems. Attend 40 hours of In-Service Training annuallyWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:
o Active or current TS/SCI with Polygraph. - Looking for Supervisors who ideally would have at least 3
year experience of leading and managing from 2 - 18 people, working with clients, scheduling and project management- High School Diploma or GED; - Minimum of 21 years of age; Qualified candidates must possess college or university program certificate; OR two to four years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have at least two years' experience in either Law Enforcement, Department of Corrections, Security or the United States Armed Forces. - Must have minimum, at least one of the following:
(a.) six (6) months experience in a State licensed security services occupation (armed/unarmed guard, control room operator, etc.), (b) be a current or former member (honorable discharge) of the United States Armed Forces(c) Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
