Karsun Solutions, an IT government contractor located in Herndon, VA, is seeking a HR Generalist who can work independently, manage several projects simultaneously and focus on Talent Management (IT), along with other HR functions as needed. PHR or SPHR certification is required. Minimum salary requirement must be submitted with resume when applying
Responsible for Talent Acquisition/Management (primarily IT applicants), which includes utilization of iCIMS Hiring Platform, direct communication with Staffing Partners, Hiring Managers and candidates
Keeps abreast of legislative changes and maintains compliance with federal and state employment law, especially new OFCCP New Regulations Regarding Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities (VEVRRA and Section 503 Final Rule)
Recommends new approaches, policies, procedures and programs to effect continual improvement of HRD to further streamline processes for efficiency, and administers various corporate programs, policies, and procedures
Conducts onboarding activities: orientation and administrative tasks related to new hires and maintenance of employee information.
Assists with benefits administration and ensures compliance to COBRA, HIPAA, PHI, ACA, etc.
Assists with maintaining Affirmative Action Program and filing government reports (EEO-1 and VETS-100A)
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.



Minimum Work Experience Requirements:
Five (5) years of progressive and relevant HR experience while demonstrating a broad and in-depth knowledge base of HR functions
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Demonstrates working knowledge of employment law and other government compliance regulations (i.e., FLSA, ADA, FMLA, EEOC, GINA, HIPAA, COBRA)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and proficient at managing several processes concurrently; able to work independently and detail-oriented.
PHR or SPHR certification required
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree preferably with Computer -related major
HR experience in a government contracting environment preferredExperience/working knowledge of iCIMS preferredExperience/working knowledge of Affirmative Action Programs and Final Regs a PLUS

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
