Work on an internal team at Booz Allen as part of the litigation investigation cell, which maintains the integrity and security of enterprise-wide Cyber systems and network infrastructure. Employ advanced industry standard forensic tools and techniques toward collection and analysis of volatile data and dead box systems. Support internal legal eDiscovery investigations with digital collections, preservation, review, analysis, and reporting. Support ethics investigations as a forensic subject matter expert directly coordinating with associated business units. Conduct intrusion-based investigations, including evidence-driven incident response investigations.
Basic
Qualifications:
-3 years of experience with digital forensics technologies and standard processes
-Experience with common commercial off-the-shelf forensic tools, including Guidance software''s EnCase Forensic, EnCase Enterprise, AccessData's FTK, or WinHex X-ways
-Experience with common forensic Open Source tools, including BackTrack Kali, SleuthKit, or SILT
-Experience in working with local system administration and varying file system types, including HFS, HFS , NTFS, or FAT12, 16, or 32
-Experience with mobile collection, review, analysis, and reporting using industry standard software or devices, including Lantern, Black Light, or Cellebrite
-Knowledge of networking, system administration, architectures, and security elements
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree in Engineering, CS, Information Security, Computer Forensic and Digital Investigation, Digital Forensic Science, or Information Systems or 6 years of experience with digital forensics in lieu degree
-CCE, CFCE, CFDI, EnCE, EnCEP, ACE, or other industry-related Certification

-Experience with enterprise network defense
-Experience with analytical, critical, and solution-oriented thinking, logic, customer service, and teaming expertise
-Knowledge of network protocols and services
-Knowledge of eDiscovery principles, concepts, techniques, and best practices as it relates to the litigation process
-Knowledge of Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM)
-Ability to learn new analysis techniques quickly with guidance from other team members
-Ability to adapt quickly and pay strict attention to detail
-Ability to show a commitment to the highest standards of ethics and professional conduct
-Ability to be self-motivated and work independently on multiple projects
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
